I’m Sierra, a San Diego wedding photographer with a docu-editorial approach that blends honest storytelling with refined, intentional artistry. While I’m known for photographing weddings in Aspen and the Colorado mountains, I also photograph weddings throughout San Diego and Southern California, drawn to the coastal light, diverse landscapes, and effortlessly elevated design the area is known for. From seaside celebrations and modern venues to intimate estate weddings, I create imagery that feels timeless, personal, and artfully composed.
My approach balances documentary honesty with an editorial eye. I allow moments to unfold naturally, then thoughtfully shape them into elevated, emotive photographs. From refined portraits framed by San Diego’s coastal scenery to quiet, fleeting interactions you may not even notice in the moment, I focus on preserving not only how your wedding day looked — but how it truly felt.

What is your photography style?
I photograph weddings with a blend of documentary storytelling and a clean, editorial feel. My focus is on genuine emotion, natural interactions, and all the in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours. I keep the experience relaxed, candid and guided so nothing feels forced or overly posed, but you still have the guidance and leadership when necessary.
How long does it typically take for you to edit and deliver a gallery?
Weddings 6-8 weeks, Couples 2-3 weeks, Families 2-3 weeks
Where are you located and do you travel?
I live in Vail, Colorado, which makes anything on the Western Slope incredibly easy for me to access. While the mountains are home, I absolutely love to travel - whether it’s for a photoshoot, a wedding, or a full destination celebration. Wherever you’re dreaming of having your photos taken, I’m always excited to go.
